Bach – “Kleine Präludium”

I am pleased to announce NDME. 019, Bach‘s Little Preludes. This is an edition created for  the use of my wife in teaching her young piano students. There are three collections of Kleine Präludium by Bach. Altogether there are 20 small piano pieces (BWV 923-943). Three of these have authorship that is doubtful (923, 925, 931, and 932), or are recognized as belonging to different composers. These I have removed from my collection, leaving 17 little preludes suitable for both young and experienced pianists. I have also included the popular prelude from the lute suite in C Minor, BWV 999, for good measure.

Thanks got to the Mutopia Project for coding some of the pitches in these pieces. This edition has been typeset in LilyPond 2.14.2 and is available as a FREE DOWNLOAD.
